To create this new product video for the Box team, I explored various creative approaches and visual techniques to effectively convey the impact of working with AI on the user experience. Given my prior collaboration with the Box team, I was familiar with the brand assets and visual style from previous projects. This allowed me to incorporate these elements into my designs, ensuring that the video not only aligned with their current content but also pushed the style forward to launch the new, exciting product.
After careful consideration, we agreed on a mixed approach, integrating stylised creative spaces to open and captivate the audience, going on to portray the reality of working with the product through UI. This was achieved through a sequence that highlights the core functionality, featuring a simplified back-and-forth conversation with the UI, showcasing real results within the software.
While the core UI was supplied by the client, I integrated it into the overall design. I presented styleframes for approval, encompassing both the stylised and product sections of the film. Once approved, I moved on to develop storyboards and animations. Additionally, I provided creative direction to another designer who joined the team, ensuring a swift turnaround without compromising the quality of the final product. This collaborative effort was crucial in meeting the project's tight deadlines. The video was subsequently edited for social media and broader distribution.
